Privacy Policy

ThreadWeave Wiki ("ThreadWeave," "we," or "us") is a private, invitation-only knowledge base operated for a specific community. It turns a group's opted-in Signal conversations into a searchable, members-only reference. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider (Auth0) supplies your name and email address, and, if you use a social login, your provider profile. Members may add an optional profile and bio.
• Conversation content. ThreadWeave ingests messages and related metadata (sender identifiers, timestamps, group names) from Signal group conversations that the community has explicitly chosen to include. Members opt in to the program before their participation is onboarded.
• Technical data. Basic logs, such as request timestamps, needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• Build and maintain the members-only knowledge base — searchable pages, member rosters, timelines, and summaries.
• Authenticate members and control access.
• Communicate with you about access, invitations, and service updates.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of processors to run ThreadWeave:

• Auth0 — authentication and login.
• Supabase — database and storage.
• OpenRouter and Anthropic — AI processing used to summarize and index content.
• Vercel — application hosting.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Who can see your information

Content is visible only to invited, authenticated members, and each member's access is scoped to the conversations they belong to. ThreadWeave is not public and is configured not to be indexed by search engines.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as the service operates or until you ask us to remove it. When a member's access is revoked, their access to content ends.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or ask to be removed from the program, by contacting threadweavewiki@gmail.com. Because ThreadWeave draws on group conversations, some content may reference you even if you are not a member; you can contact us with any such request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

ThreadWeave is not directed to children and is intended for adult members of the operating community.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
